L.I.F.E. Groups
L.I.F.E. Groups is an acronym for “Live in Faith Everyday.” These small groups are the lifeblood of the church and the life of discipleship. It is within these groups where everyday life meets with the walk of faith. These groups study God’s Word, talk about it and its intersection with our lives, and uphold one another in Christian love. Take a look below at the various groups we have, and if interested in becoming part of one, let us know!

Prime Time Christians L.I.F.E. GroupThis group began in 1980 as the SUMones (Single United Methodist Ones). Over the years, the name has been changed to Prime Time Christians and their philosophy is that whatever time of life you’re in, it’s the “prime time”. Ages range from 25 to 92 and include more than one generation of several families. The class meets together for summer cookouts, birthday and anniversary celebrations and an annual Christmas party in members’ homes. They support the Church Mission 5000 program by preparing and serving the meal one Saturday a month. The class is kept up to date on Church and class activities through email as often as needed. The Prime Time Christians participate in all Church functions such as the Chili Cookoff and the Fall Festival. Prime Time Christians meet in the Connection Center in the Good Shepherd Room.

They support local causes financially and have an email ministry among their members. They meet on Sunday mornings in the Disciple Room of the Connection Center. The members are mostly very young at 65+. Several members compose the Light Maintenance Team, a group that assists with repairs of the Church buildings along with lots of fellowship.

Seekers L.I.F.E. GroupA small but mighty group, the Seekers Life Group is led by Bart and Carolyn Gray. The Seekers use the Adult Bible Study and short term studies with books written by James Moore and Adam Hamilton. They study God's Word and learn from each other. Potlucks and a Christmas party occur in members’ homes which also give time to build close relationships. The Seekers may be best known for the beautiful wall of crosses that continue to grow in their classroom, along with their support of and participation in the Walk to Emmaus, a nondenominational spiritual renewal program. New members are welcome to join this group as they seek to hear what God has to say to them each Sunday. Seekers meet in the Connection Center in the Emmaus Room.
